Christos P. Panayides
Christos P. Panayides B.A. (Hons) FCCA -Director
Christos was educated in the United Kingdom where he obtained a B.A. (Hons) degree in Accounting and Finance from the South Bank University – London.
Christos was trained with one of the big four audit firms where he obtained his professional qualification as Chartered Certified Accountant. Thereafter he joined one medium size audit firm in Nicosia where he was involved in the audit of local and international clients. Subsequently he was promoted to the post of Director and he was in charge of the Department of International Business Companies (IBCs) of the firm. He has extensive experience on the audit of I.B.Cs and on other local clients’ audit as he was involved for almost twelve years in this audit firm before he formed his own professional audit firm.
Christos is a fellow member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants Cyprus. (ICPAC).
Panicos Panayides
Panicos Panayides FCCA -Tax Consultant (Deceased) (ex. Chief Revenue Officer)
Panicos started his professional career with the Inland Revenue Department of the Republic of Cyprus in 1978 when he was appointed as Principal Assessor. Subsequently he was promoted to the post of Senior Principal Assessor and for a period of five years he was in charge of a District Income Tax Office as a District Commissioner of Income Tax. Ultimately, he was promoted to the post of Chief Revenue Officer which was the highest post in the hierarchy of the Inland Revenue Department, a post just below the Commissioner Income Tax.
During his government service, Panicos was exposed as a scholar of the Republic of Cyprus to two separate tax courses in the U.K for a total duration of one year where he had the opportunity, apart from his training, to visit U.K. District Tax Offices and draw from their experience. After his retirement, he joined a medium size audit firm where he offered his services for almost twelve years. Panicos is a fellow member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus (ICPAC) and he was for several years member of the Taxation committee of ICPAC.
Panicos was the father of Christos and offerd his services as Tax Consultant on a wide range of tax matters. He can dealt with any tax issue either local or international and due to his vast experience he has an inside knowledge of various tax problems and knows what is the best option for each client.
On 21 September 2019 he passed away. †
